Sources: Jalen Hurts makes appearance at Eagles facility
Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts made a notable appearance at the team's practice facility, which was the first time many teammates had seen him since being placed on injured reserve due to blood clots in his lungs. During his visit, Hurts attended team meetings, although he did not speak to the team. His presence reportedly lifted the spirits of some players.
Hurts, who is expected to miss the remainder of the season, was initially diagnosed with a superficial blood clot while in London for a game. After further examinations revealed a more serious condition, including deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary emboli, he was placed on injured reserve on October 17. His treatment requires blood thinners, preventing him from engaging in any contact activities. In his absence, Tanner McKee struggled as the starter, and Joe Milton has since been signed to take over the role as the Eagles aim to end a six-game losing streak against the New York Giants.
