NFL Week 9 uniforms: Eagles rock 'Kelly Green,' Chargers don 'Super Chargers'

In Week 9 of the NFL, several teams are showcasing alternate uniforms, including the Los Angeles Chargers and the Philadelphia Eagles. The Chargers will don their all-navy 'Super Chargers' uniforms against the Houston Texans, a design that pays homage to styles from the 1990s and early 2000s. This uniform features white numbers with an old-school outline and gold trim, along with distinctive bolts on the pants, shoulders, and helmet.

Meanwhile, the Eagles are bringing back their iconic 'Kelly Green' uniforms for their matchup against the New York Giants, who will wear a 'Vintage White' look. This trend of throwback uniforms has been gaining popularity, previously seen in games like the 'Thursday Night Football' clash between the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks. Other teams, such as the Baltimore Ravens and New Orleans Saints, will also sport unique alternate looks this week as part of the NFL's ongoing celebration of its history.
