RB Josh Jacobs not anticipating missing more time despite additional allegations
Packers running back Josh Jacobs is not expecting to miss additional games despite facing new allegations of physical and verbal abuse. Jacobs has already missed six games while on the NFL's commissioner exempt list, and he believes that will be the extent of his absence from the field. The allegations, which involve three women and date back to April 2021, surfaced following his arrest related to a domestic violence incident in May.
In response to the allegations, Jacobs has defended his character, stating that he feels attacked and insists that the claims are false. He has already pleaded no contest to charges stemming from the May incident, resulting in a battery conviction and a fine. Although the NFL is still investigating the new allegations, Jacobs remains confident that he will continue to play, stating that he is not worried about further suspensions. Meanwhile, the Packers organization has expressed their support for him during this ongoing situation.
