Jared Verse says he has spoken to Browns teammates about not defending him
Cleveland Browns defensive end Jared Verse addressed his teammates regarding their lack of support during a recent game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He expressed his frustration after Steelers guard Mason McCormick received a penalty for a hit on him during a point-after attempt, noting that he was upset by the absence of a reaction from his fellow players.
Verse highlighted that a similar incident involving teammate Derek Barnett further intensified his feelings. He acknowledged the need for better communication with his teammates about his emotional responses on the field. As the Browns prepare for their next game, Verse emphasized the importance of letting their performance speak for itself, while also recognizing his own role in fostering team unity.
