Bowen: Six players you can now trust in lineups, four that you cannot any longer
As fantasy football managers prepare for Week 9, some players have emerged as reliable options while others have fallen out of favor. A recent analysis highlighted six players who are currently trustworthy in lineups, including Jameson Williams of the Detroit Lions, who has been performing well with consistent scoring and big-play potential. Jonah Coleman from the Denver Broncos has also gained recognition as a dual-threat running back, especially following a strong performance in Week 8.
On the other hand, several players are now considered less reliable. Matthew Stafford of the Los Angeles Rams has struggled without key receivers, making him a risky choice in standard leagues. Similarly, DK Metcalf of the Pittsburgh Steelers has had limited production this season, raising concerns about his ability to deliver big plays. Dalton Kincaid from the Buffalo Bills has shown flashes of potential but has been inconsistent, while Bryce Young of the Carolina Panthers has seen a decline in performance due to injuries and a struggling offensive line.
