What Notre Dame is using to build its offensive supporting cast around CJ Carr

CJ Carr, the quarterback for Notre Dame, is receiving high praise from his teammates and coaches, who regard him as an elite player with exceptional intelligence on the field. As the team prepares for a crucial matchup against top-ranked Miami, there are questions about the supporting cast around Carr, particularly given the lack of experience among many offensive players. Notre Dame is looking to build a strong offensive unit to complement Carr's skills, which have already made a significant impact this season.

Key players include wide receiver Jordan Faison, who transitioned from lacrosse to football and has become a leading receiver, and Jaden Greathouse, who is returning from injury to contribute significantly. Micah Gilbert has also emerged as a reliable option at receiver. In the running back position, Notre Dame is replacing two NFL draft picks with younger players like Nolan James Jr. and Jonaz Walton, who have shown promise in their performances. The team's ability to elevate its offensive game will be critical in their pursuit of a playoff spot as they face a formidable opponent this weekend.
