Luka Doncic again puts up 40 as torrid stretch continues in Lakers' win
Luka Doncic continued his impressive scoring streak, netting 40 points in the Los Angeles Lakers' 116-103 victory over the Sacramento Kings. This performance marked the sixth consecutive game in which Doncic scored at least 35 points, a feat only previously accomplished by Lakers legends Kobe Bryant and Elgin Baylor.
Lakers coach JJ Redick acknowledged that Doncic's current form is among the best he has seen, reminiscent of a remarkable stretch last March. Doncic's ability to score early in games has been a key factor, as he consistently puts up significant points in the first half. In the matchup against the Kings, he scored 23 points before halftime, helping the Lakers build a substantial lead. The team improved to a 7-2 record for the season, with Doncic's performance being a major contributor to their success.
