Iowa starting center Cael Winter expected to miss game vs. Northwestern

Iowa's starting center, Cael Winter, is anticipated to be sidelined for the upcoming game against Northwestern due to an undisclosed injury. Coach Kirk Ferentz confirmed that Michael Myslinski, a sixth-year player, will take over the starting role in Winter's absence.

Myslinski has primarily served as a reserve player throughout his career but stepped in for Winter during the latter part of the recent victory against Wisconsin. Meanwhile, wide receiver Tony Diaz is expected to participate in the game against Northwestern, according to Ferentz.
