2027 College Football Playoff National Championship odds
The initial College Football Playoff rankings have been released, revealing a notable gap between the committee's rankings and the odds set by bookmakers for the national title. Georgia, ranked No. 2, is favored at +350, while Miami, ranked No. 1, is positioned third at +620. Surprisingly, Notre Dame, despite being ranked No. 11, holds the second-best odds at +550.
LSU, ranked No. 14, has odds of +810 ahead of their upcoming rivalry game against Alabama, which is controversially ranked No. 5 and sits at 11-1 in the odds. Reigning champion Indiana, ranked No. 4, and Ohio State, ranked No. 12, are both at 10-1. Ohio State's odds have worsened after suffering its second loss this season. Texas, initially seen as a contender with +750 odds, has fallen to +1050 after two losses. Oregon, ranked No. 23, has faced significant struggles, dropping from +800 to a long-shot 350-1 after three losses.
