Transfer rumors, news: Barcelona to end up signing Sullivan?
Barcelona is reportedly interested in signing Cavan Sullivan, a midfielder for the Philadelphia Union, as part of their transfer strategy. The club is not alone in its pursuit, as several prominent European teams, including Real Madrid, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Paris Saint-Germain, are also monitoring Sullivan's situation. Although he had previously agreed to a pre-contract with Manchester City, concerns regarding the club's financial sanctions have opened the door for other teams to consider him.
In addition to Sullivan, Chelsea and Manchester United are keeping an eye on Nico Paz, an attacking midfielder from Como. Real Madrid holds a significant re-signing clause for Paz, which becomes active in early July, but Como is keen to retain the player following his strong performances. Meanwhile, Liverpool is in contact with Borussia Dortmund's Felix Nmecha but is prioritizing other targets. Galatasaray has withdrawn from negotiations for Manchester United's Bruno Fernandes, leaving a potential move to Saudi Arabia as the most likely option for him.
