Sources: Tiger Woods expected to play in TGL opener Dec. 27

Tiger Woods is anticipated to participate in the opening match of TGL's third season on December 27, where his team, Jupiter Links Golf Club, will face Los Angeles Golf Club. This matchup is a rematch of last season's finals. The event will also feature Brooks Koepka making his TGL debut with Motor City Golf Club against Rory McIlroy's Boston Common Golf in the first match of the day.

Although Woods has not officially confirmed his participation, sources indicate he is likely to play unless he encounters further physical issues. Last season, Woods struggled with injuries and only played one match due to a back surgery. His recent legal troubles have also kept him from competing regularly. Fans are also looking forward to his potential appearances in upcoming events, including the Hero World Challenge and the PNC Championship with his son, Charlie.
