Romeo Lavia: Meeting Eden Hazard gave me extra motivation to succeed at Chelsea

Chelsea midfielder Romeo Lavia has expressed that a recent meeting with Eden Hazard has inspired him to enhance his performance as he progresses through the season. Hazard, a celebrated figure at Chelsea, visited Stamford Bridge during the team's 2-0 Premier League victory over Manchester United and interacted with players post-match. Lavia noted that seeing Hazard, who has a storied history with the club, instilled a sense of pride and motivation in him.

Despite facing challenges with injuries since his transfer from Southampton, Lavia has been a consistent presence in Chelsea's matchday squad this season and has recently returned to the Belgium national team. He has completed full matches in his last two appearances and is focused on contributing to the team's success. Lavia acknowledged the ongoing improvement process and the positive work being done at the club, as Chelsea currently sits fourth in the Premier League standings. The team is set to face Sunderland next before their match against Leeds after the international break.
