Karl Bushby: Hull City welcome adventurer home after 28-year trek from Chile

Karl Bushby has completed his remarkable 31,000-mile journey from South America to Hull after 28 years. The British adventurer was welcomed home by Hull City, who encouraged fans to greet him at City Hall. Bushby began his trek in 1998 from Punta Aires, Chile, with the intention of walking back to the UK without using any form of transport or returning until his journey was complete.

Upon his arrival in Hull, Bushby was reunited with his mother, son, and granddaughter. His journey took him across four continents, where he faced numerous challenges including extreme weather and dangerous wildlife. He swam the English Channel earlier this month to kick off the final leg of his adventure, pushing a supply cart he calls 'The Beast.' Before crossing the Humber, he recorded a message for Hull City fans, expressing his excitement to return and attend a match in the stadium.
