Kai Havertz becomes all-time record German goalscorer in Premier League

Kai Havertz achieved a milestone by becoming the all-time leading German goalscorer in the Premier League following his decisive goal in Arsenal's 1-0 victory against Liverpool. This goal, which came in the 16th minute at Anfield, marked his 46th in the league, surpassing the previous record held by Ilkay Gündogan.

Havertz's current tally for Arsenal stands at 27 goals, with three of those scored this season. His Premier League journey includes 19 goals during his time at Chelsea from 2020 to 2023. Notably, he has now scored twice against Liverpool in his career, with his previous goal against them dating back to August 2021. This recent goal also ended a nine-game scoring drought for him with Arsenal in all competitions.
