Ian Poulter, Tyrrell Hatton won't be part of LIV Golf 2.0
Ian Poulter and Tyrrell Hatton have both confirmed they will not participate in LIV Golf 2.0. Poulter, who co-captained the Majesticks GC team, cited a desire to spend more time with family and focus on senior golf as key reasons for his decision. He expressed a wish to pursue other interests at this stage of his career. Hatton, a prominent player in the LIV Golf League, expressed gratitude for his supporters while looking forward to the next chapter of his career.
Poulter recently returned to the DP World Tour after a long absence, although he missed the cut at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship. He is eligible to rejoin the DP World Tour in November but remains ineligible for captaincy roles in the Ryder Cup due to a rule that disqualifies players who drop their membership. Hatton plans to compete in the upcoming Abu Dhabi Aldar Championship and has previously won multiple events on the European Tour. Other players, including Lucas Herbert and Branden Grace, have also announced their exit from LIV Golf to join the DP World Tour.
